Scope of works

As part of the project, Telmax was responsible, among other things, for:

• redevelopment of the athletics track, including installation of a polyurethane surface,

• construction of the circular track and sprint lanes,

• construction of facilities for the long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vault,

• construction of facilities for the javelin, discus and hammer throw, as well as the shot put,

• redevelopment of the stadium's technical infrastructure,

• construction of stormwater drainage, drainage systems and dewatering infrastructure,

• construction of road and pavement surfaces,

• redevelopment of electrical installations and fencing elements,

• equipping the stadium with the equipment required for athletics events.

Construction summary

The project required a comprehensive redevelopment of the existing sports infrastructure and its adaptation to the standards required of professional athletics facilities. The individual work packages included specialist sports surfaces and equipment, as well as installation works, drainage works and site development.

Telmax was responsible for carrying out and coordinating the works covered by the contract and for preparing infrastructure enabling the stadium to be used by athletes representing various athletics disciplines. The modernisation expanded the facility's existing football function to include a full-scale athletics function.

The project resulted in one of the most modern athletics facilities in the region, suitable both for daily training and for hosting sports competitions.
